Lanier Parts Agent Privacy Policy

Google information accessed and its purpose

With your permission, Parts Agent uses Gmail read access to locate relevant supplier invoice messages and retrieve message identifiers, sender and other message metadata, message content needed for the workflow, and PDF attachments. It extracts supplier, invoice, purchase-order, part, quantity, cost and charge information for receiving and audit records. When Gmail sending is authorized, it sends workflow messages and the relevant invoice and receipt PDFs to approved recipients.

The app requests Gmail read-only access (gmail.readonly) and, when enabled, Gmail sending access (gmail.send). These permissions are used for the receiving and document-delivery features described here. Read-only access does not permit the app to modify or delete mailbox messages.

Storage, access and sharing

The app retains invoice PDFs, extracted business information, receipt documents and audit records in Lanier-controlled application storage. Storage may include owner-configured synchronization and backups. OAuth tokens are stored using the operating system credential store. Authorized personnel may access information to operate the requested workflow, review exceptions, provide support and meet business recordkeeping obligations.

Google processes messages through Gmail. Approved recipients receive documents sent through the workflow. Owner-authorized storage and support providers may process information as necessary to provide the requested service. Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.

Retention, deletion and revocation

Business documents and audit records are retained for receiving, reconciliation and recordkeeping needs. Contact the operator to request access to or deletion of retained information; legal and business retention obligations may affect what can be deleted. You can revoke the app's Google access through your Google Account permissions. Revocation stops future authorized access but does not automatically delete documents already retained or email already delivered.

Google API Limited Use

Lanier Parts Agent's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
